
Spellcasters Description
In this VR game, wizards cast magical spells via gestures of their wand while seamlessly completing their Stroke physical rehabilitation exercises. Spellcasters features a novel custom gesture creation sandbox for clinicians to create gestures that are appropriate for the individual needs of their patients. My Role
I was the lead researcher of Spellcasters. I oversaw the participatory design sessions and founded the pivot to redesigning the game for stroke rehabilitation. A team of Master's students completed the development work and game design. I instructed the teams on how to make the game more accessible.
